Add Resource Group

A Resource Group is basically a "Customer". All the customers tests points will be a member of this group. You will create 1 Resource Group per customer.

1. First, got to the Aggregation Summary menu and select Customers.

2. Then hit the Add Customer item.

3. Then at the Add Resource screen fill in the data. Be sure that you use the proper MSP as the “Parent Resource Group”.

4. Fill in the Name of the resource. Be sure the resource name is the same as the DXP Tenant as it is defined.

5. Then select the Test Points tab.

6. Select the EPC’s you want in the new Resource group and hit the “Add” Button. Then hit the Save button to save your selection.

7. The Organizational Details is where you will define the groups GrpID. This will tell the EPC where to go to get a license.

8. At the Organization Group Id field enter the name of the new Resource group. This will be the DXP tenant name. This field will be very important to your deployments as it needs to be put in the installer when the customer is loading his EPC.
