Overview

This course is for administrators who need to understand and perform the tasks needed to administer Foundation APM in a UC environment.

Course Objectives

Supply the information necessary for you to:

  • Locate and use the Foundation APM reference resources.
  • Understand the Foundation APM-related terminology.
  • Explain the purpose and features of Foundation APM 
  • Describe the components of the Foundation APM architecture.
  • Discuss how UC-related data is gathered and monitored by Foundation APM
  • Manage users, user groups, and their authorization to access Foundation APM features.
  • Use the web-based management UI to provide administrative support for a Foundation APM environment.

Course Highlights

This course will help you to:

  • Administer users and groups, password rules, and authorization.
  • Use reference resources to perform the most common administration-related tasks through the web-based management UI.
  • Add to and customize existing Foundation APM functionality.
  • Use the Event Management options to manage how events are processed within Foundation APM
  • Troubleshoot Foundation APM component-related issues.
