Overview
This document outlines the steps required to configure a Nectar DXP tenant to collect Zoom meeting/webinar data. Once complete, Nectar DXP will have access to the following data from Zoom:
- User profile data
- Group membership
- Meeting/webinar details including host/participant lists, duration, location information and QoS data.
This information will be used throughout the Nectar DXP platform. To see a list of all meetings/webinars captured by Nectar DXP, go to the CALL DETAILS tab from within Nectar DXP.
Prerequisites
- The customer must have an active cloud-based Nectar DXP tenant
- The customer's Nectar DXP tenant must have the Zoom integration enabled by a Nectar employee
- The person doing the Zoom integration must be an active Zoom Administrator.
Steps
- After logging into the Nectar DXP tenant, a message will appear asking the user to complete the steps to integrate Zoom into Nectar DXP
- Clicking the message will open up the Zoom integration page.
- If the user is a Zoom Administrator, click the Connect to Zoom button. Otherwise, copy the URL and send to a Zoom Administrator, who should then navigate to the provided URL.
- The user will be prompted to log into Zoom and authorize Nectar DXP to collect call data information. Upon successful authorization, the user will be returned to Nectar DXP.
At this point, no other steps are required. Nectar DXP will begin to collect Zoom call data as meetings/webinars/calls complete
