Overview

This course is for Nectar and Partner resources, including Solution Architects and Pre-Sales Support Engineers, who participate in the design of Nectar solutions.

Course Objectives

Provide the information necessary for you to:

• Locate and use the Advanced Diagnostics deployment reference resources.
• Describe how UC-related data is gathered and monitored by Advanced Diagnostics
• Explain the design concepts around Advanced Diagnostics
• Discuss the criteria around the placement of Advanced Diagnostic appliances.
• Complete the Advanced Diagnostics design process.

Course Highlights

This course will help you to:

• Gather the information from the customer necessary to begin the Advanced Diagnostics design process.
• Determine the network segments and devices to be monitored by Advanced Diagnostics
• Calculate the signaling and media bandwidth requirements for each monitoring point.
• Specify the hardware requirements for each Advanced Diagnostics appliance.
• Adapt your design to meet vendor-specific design guidelines.
• Apply the design concepts in a series of labs.
