Overview
This course is for Nectar and Partner resources, including Solution Architects and Pre-Sales Support Engineers, who participate in the design of Nectar solutions.
Course Objectives
Provide the information necessary for you to:
- Locate and use the Advanced Diagnostics deployment reference resources.
- Describe how UC-related data is gathered and monitored by Advanced Diagnostics
- Explain the design concepts around Advanced Diagnostics
- Discuss the criteria around the placement of Advanced Diagnostic appliances.
- Complete the Advanced Diagnostics design process.
Course Highlights
This course will help you to:
- Gather the information from the customer necessary to begin the Advanced Diagnostics design process.
- Determine the network segments and devices to be monitored by Advanced Diagnostics
- Calculate the signaling and media bandwidth requirements for each monitoring point.
- Specify the hardware requirements for each Advanced Diagnostics appliance.
- Adapt your design to meet vendor-specific design guidelines.
- Apply the design concepts in a series of labs.
