    Article summary

Under the Platform header of Dashboards, you can view a global summary of the Avaya platform data. All information is taken from real-time data and refreshes automatically every minute. The page consists of the following parts:

    • Global System Summary
    • Clusters

    Global System Summary

The Global System Summary section provides a summary of Avaya locations and clusters, platform and application status, registrations, and sessions data. The following section will be describing the three main parts of the Avaya Global System Summary:

    • All
    • ACM
    • Session Manager

    All

When you first view the Global System Summary section, it defaults to the All tab.

The All tab will display data from every Avaya cluster, with columns for:

    • The Cluster Name
    • The number of Active Alarms for each respective cluster. If there are any ongoing critical alarms then active alarms will display as red, moderate alarms will display as yellow. If there are no active alarms, then a green "OK" will be displayed.
    • The number of Registrations for associated users and phone numbers with the cluster.
    • The number of Current Calls associated with the cluster.
    • The Type of cluster.

Clicking one of the clusters will display additional data. For more details, see Clusters.

    ACM

Click on the ACM tab to view a page similar to All for Global System Summary, but specific to clusters associated with an Avaya Session Manager.

Session Manager clusters do not display the same data as those listed in All, instead only displaying:

    • The number of Active Alarms for each respective ACM.
    • The status of the Trunk Groups connected to the corresponding ACM.

Clicking one of the clusters will display additional data. For more details, see Clusters.

    Session Manager

Click on the ACM tab to view a page similar to All for Global System Summary, but specific to clusters associated with an Avaya Communication Manager.

Session Manager clusters do not display the same data as those listed in All, instead only displaying:

    • The number of Active Alarms for each respective session manager.
    • The status of the SIP Link Entities connected to the corresponding session manager.
    • The number of Registrations for associated users and phone numbers with the session manager.
    • The number of Current Calls associated with the session manager.

Clicking one of the clusters will display additional data. For more details, see Clusters.

    Clusters

This next section will cover the navigating a specific cluster, and will include the following topics:

    • Overview
    • Resources
    • Alarm Summaries
    • Alarm Lists

    Overview

Click on a cluster to open a detailed screen regarding the selected cluster.

This page consists of several panels of data about the selected cluster, including a list of cluster resources statuses, a summary of various alarms, and a list of active cluster alarms.

    Resources

On the left side of the screen, a list of cluster resource statuses will be visible.

Click on one of the resources listed in the left pane, such as License Capacity, to open another page and view more information about that resource like its name, description, status, capacity, etc. Different data will be visible depending on the resource selected.

    Alarm Summaries

The CUCM Cluster Status panel provides a breakdown of the current cluster alarms listed in the CUCM Cluster Active Alarms panel below the list of resources.

When you click on an alarm, a more specific screen will appear. For example, after clicking on Gateways as seen in the image above, the following screen will appear:

    Alarm Lists

For each type of cluster, a list of relevant alarms will be visible towards the bottom of the screen. See below for an example of two alarm lists for an ACM:

Clicking on an alarm will display a dashboard specific to the event:
