Managing Agent License Keys

Prev Next

Assigning or Revoking a License Key to an End Point Agent

To manually license an agent using a pool key, click the corresponding button on the Test Points screen.

The license screen shows the agent’s name and licensing status (in this case, Connected / Not Licensed). A list of available pool keys is displayed at the bottom of the screen. For each pool key, the Usages Tokens Avail/Total column indicates how many license key tokens have been assigned from the pool and how many total keys are supported.

To assign a license key to the agent, in the Assign column, select the desired pool key and then click Save or to Revoke then select Save..

On the Test Points screen, a message is displayed indicating that the license key assignment request was sent. The License Broker will process the request, and if valid, send the Controller a license key that is then assigned to the agent. When this process completes, the agent status will change to Licensed.
