Overview

The following Release Notes lists the new features, enhancements, and resolved issues included in the CXA 2025.1 product release. The following provides an overview of the release. 

  • Added capability to support creation web test case in Express module and execution of them via Express Campaign.
  • Added capability to setup carrier gateway and use them in Test Case.
  • Added capability to perform validation of non-English IVR prompt using Nuance (MRCP).
  • Added capability to select a date to exclude campaign run for every year.
  • Enhanced alerts email and event bridge content to show all information of the executed steps for a failed test.
  • Upgraded the Postgres database to Aurora PostgresSQL 14.x.
  • Modified the permissions of Child Org admins to see details and users of their org alone.

Features/Enhancements

  • CXA-3253 - Test Case Manager - Added support for multiple languages (Arabic UAE, Malayalam, and Urdu) in the Expect to Hear field.  
  • CXA-3879 - Campaign Manager - Added the capability to set an annual date using DD-MM format without updating every year using the Exclude Dates parameter and the Repeat Every Year check box. This feature also works for import, export, and API. If the DD-MM format is used, it will be repeated every year. If the DD-MM-YYYY format is used, the run will be excluded for that date.  
  • CXA-3909 - Test Case Manager/Test Module Manager - Added the failed test case or test module step number to the alert message to make it more user friendly.
  • CXA-3972 - Express Module - Added capability to support creation web test case in Express module and execution of them via Express Campaign.
  • CXA-4037 - Campaign Run - System will use top-down approach of picking up data rows from the data table when using a data-driven test case after a campaign timeout/campaign stop/random row selection event. 
  • CXA-4071 - Carrier Gateway - Allow users to use carrier gateway for called number and CLI fields of testcase instead of using SIP address. 
  • CXA-4083 - Upgraded to Aurora PostgresSQL 14.x. 
  • CXA-4147 - Implemented the feature allowing user to specify a data driven column for test case "Notes" and "Description" fields.

Resolved Issues

  • CXA-3927 - Test Module Manager - Resolved issue with unlinking test module steps and the missing Delete button.  
  • CXA-3929 - Dashboard - Resolved issue with threshold line disappearing when user drills down, up, and then down again to minute level. 
  • CXA-3935 - Settings - Added the capability to hot swap the alerts enable/disable feature to resolve issue of having to restart scheduler service.
  • CXA-3979 - Report Dashboard - Resolved issue with report including runs outside of the filtered date/time range. 
  • CXA-3989 - Test Case Manager - Resolved issue with data-driven feature for a web and voice test case.  
  • CXA-4014 - Report Dashboard - Resolved issue with PESQ status on Call Detail Summary Report when there is no PESQ score for test step. 
  • CXA-4030 - Test Case Manager - Resolved issue with importing a test case with only Make Call step. Importing a test case requires at least two test case steps.    
  • CXA-4046 - Campaign Manager/Test Case Manager - Resolved issue with campaign/test case import with unidentified string values in called number, override called number, and fixed CLI and variable CLI.  
  • CXA-4060/CXA-4094 - Settings - Resolved issue with an Admin user added to a child organization. The Child Org Admin user cannot modify the parent organization. 
  • CXA-4090 - Test Case Manager - Resolved issue with importing a new or existing test case that was exported from the Express module. 
  • CXA-4091 - Resolved issue that caused a JavascriptException in Selenium tests when interacting with WebClient at client site. 
  • CXA-4102 - Resolved issue in DIVR where system does not allow user to edit the possible reply of crawled testcase.
  • CXA-4104 - Resolved issue when reply type is selected as Speech, test run fails when AWS/GCS is selected as providers.
  • CXA-4105 - Resolved issue in Campaign manager - Column "Last run" remains blank for a daily run campaign.
  • CXA-4109 - Resolved issue where the CLI was not incrementing when DIVR makes the calls for crawling.
  • CXA-4111 - Resolved the DIVR issue where system merges the prompts, when no input is provided for the IVR Response.
  • CXA-4112 - Resolved the DIVR issue where system completes a crawl with no test steps created.
  • CXA-4113 - Settings - Resolved issue with adding or removing users from the Available column in General Settings.
  • CXA-4114 - Report Dashboard - Resolved issue with executing all data rows for a web test case with data file and linked voice.  
  • CXA-4116 - Test Case - Resolved the issue where system triggers two calls, when quick run of data driven fixed CLI test case is performed.
  • CXA-4124 - Module Manager - Resolved the issue where system allows to edit an existing step and enable PESQ field without choosing PESQ media file.
  • CXA-4130 - Tags - Resolved the issue which prevented users from creating tag with same name in different organization.
  • CXA-4173 - Settings - Resolved the issue where system prompts to enter domain name while configuring SSO, even though general settings page has domain name saved.
