    New Features

    1. Role-based Data Access (RDA):
Our existing RBAC (role-base access control) feature has now been extended to a deeper level to control the exact data a user can access then using Nectar DXP. Not only does this focus the end user on the data that is important to their roles and responsibilities within an organization but it also adds an addition layer of security, enables deeper least privileged access controls and is also required for compliance with certain regulations such GDPR and SOC2.

      1. Introduced role-based data access which allows admins to defines custom roles that have a restricted data access view
        1. Updated the Role creation wizard view to function with the new RDA feature
        2. Added a toggle to enable restriction on PII data to the role creation/edit screen
        3. Added a filter to control access to desired Users/Endpoints data to the role creation/edit screen

    2. PII Data Obfuscation:
PII obfuscation is a data security technique that alters, masks, or replaces sensitive data (e.g. names, telephone numbers, email addresses) to protect individual privacy while keeping the data functional for troubleshooting, analytics, and reporting purposes. It is a critical component of compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA. This feature is especially important in highly regulated sectors such as finance, insurance and public services.
